Quebec Makes Immigrants Pass Values Test

As of January 1, 2020, all Quebec immigration applicants must pass a Values ​​Test before being accepted.

From the beginning of next year, Quebec immigrants must prove that they know “democratic values ​​and Quebec values” before they obtain a Quebec Selection Certificate.

This test covers only Quebec’s economic immigration programs (specialized and commercial programs) and does not include sponsorship or asylum programs.

Quebec main applicant, wife and children over 18 years old must pass the test. Younger children and people with medical problems are exempt from this test.
The test is conducted online and consists of 20 questions out of a total of 200 questions. Participants must answer at least 75% of the questions correctly.
