Federal Express Entry Category-based Draw 291 | 1500 invitations to Apply issued
On March 26, 2024, the latest Federal Express Entry category-based Draw 291 targeting French-language proficiency was conducted, issuing 1,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to Express Entry candidates aspiring to immigrate to Canada for Canadian permanent residence.
IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw
Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 388. It is 52 points more than as compared to previous Express Entry French-language proficiency draw.
2024 Total ITAs issued
Draw 291 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 26,695 in federal skilled worker.
Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on March 10, 2024 at 20:06:26 UTC for Federal Express Entry category-based Draw 291. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 388, as well as those with scores of 388 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
