Canada Issues 975 Express Entry Category-based Invitations to Apply for Transport Occupations
A new Federal Express Entry Category-based Transport Occupations Draw 289 in Transport Occupations held Dec 20,2023 and 975 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw
Candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 430 in this draw. This score is 5 less than the previous Express Entry draw that targeted Transport Occupations on December 20, 2023.
2024 Total ITAs issued
Draw 289 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 23,215 in federal skilled worker.
Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on July 31, 2023 at 13:27:26 UTC for Federal Express Entry Category-based Draw 289. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 435 only those who submitted their Express Entry profiles before this date and time received invitations.
