The Dominican Citizenship-by-Investment program will allow qualified investors and their family members to apply for citizenship and benefit from facilitation of visa-free travel to over 90 countries including UK.

Qualifications / Investment Options

To qualify for citizenship application, the applicants must have a basic knowledge of English and they will need to make a direct, non-refundable investment with the government of Dominica depending on the size of family:

  • Single applicant: An investment of US$100,000.
  • Family application I (Applicant + spouse): An investment of US$175,000.
  • Family application II (Applicant + spouse + 2 children under 18): An investment of US$200,000.
  • Family application III (Applicant + spouse + 3 children under 18): An investment of US$350,000. An investment of US$50,000 is required for each additional child under 18 years.

Residency Obligation: No physical residency obligation.

The process

  • Month 1:
    • File preparation. The advisory fee, the government and due diligence fees are all payable at this stage.
    • Issuance of pre-approval letter.
    • Submission of citizenship application
    • Issuance of comfort letter by the Dominican authorities.
  • Month 4:
    • Transfering the investment by the applicant.
    • Approval and taking the Oath of Allegiance

    by the applicant and family.

  • Month 8:
    • Issuance of Certificate of Naturalization.
    • Issuance of passport.
