Second Invitation in the Arrima System

After the new changes to the Arima Quebec system, second draw was done by Quebec Immigration and sent 259 invitations on Jul 17. Information about the second draw was announced by Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion (MIDI) on Aug 19 , 2017.

Regarding the information MIDI released on the webpage, in the first draw, 691 invitations issued for those candidates who want to immigrate to Canada through Arrima system and registered their Expression of Interest profiles (EOI).

The Quebec Minister for Immigration, who has introduced the system, has claimed that by presenting a major shift in the new Arima system, the possibilities and tools to attract candidates in response to Quebec’s labor market are provided.

The Department inviyes candidates who:

– had applied for a selection certificate in the Regular Skilled Worker Program and who were temporarily staying in Quebec at the time of the application;
– had applied for a selection certificate in the Regular Program for Skilled Workers and who are now in Quebec;
– hold a job offer validated by a Quebec employer.

Those who meet the first and second categories above and wish to be invited to apply for permanent selection must first submit a declaration of interest through the Arrima online platform.

The new service included in the new Arima Quebec system is the Employer Portal. In February 2020, employers have access to profiles of Canadian immigrants who have registered with the Arima system. This access allows people to be selected by employers based on business needs and conditions in Quebec. Employers could communicate with the desired candidates to make a negotiation and offer them work to lead to accelerate immigration processes
