Government of Prince Edward Island introduces Performance Agreement for nominated candidates in starting their business and expected all entrepreneurs consider and met the eligibility to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

PEI is one of the 11 Canadian provinces and territories that participate in the Canadian Nomination Program, which allows these provinces to select a number of immigrant applicants for permanent residence in Canada each year.

In total for both streams including Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry , issuing 144  invitations during this period at PEI has increased invitations so far this year to 641.

The 138 Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates who received an invitation in Mar 16, 2023 draw can now apply to PEI’s provincial nominee program for a nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

The 6 entrepreneur candidates who want to immigrate to Canada invited through the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur Business Impact Category can now apply to the PEI PNP for a letter of support.
