New Changes to Express Entry CRS 2020
IRCC to launch new changes to the Express Entry 2020 ranking system on October 20, 2020 in the CRS Comprehensive System. All applicants who intend to immigrate to Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker can get more points through their French Language Skills.
Applicants must take one of the official French language tests, including the Test d’évaluation de français pour le Canada (TEF Canada) or the Test de connaissance du français pour le Canada (TCF Canada), and take one of these French language tests.
If you score NCLC 7 or higher on all four French language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), you will get
- 25 additional points if you scored CLB 4 or lower in English (or you have not had an English test); or
- 50 additional points if you scored CLB 5 or higher on all four English skills
This is in addition to points you get for official languages.
