IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw
Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 534. It is 1 point less than as compared to previous Express Entry General draw.
2024 Total ITAs issued
Draw 286 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 1,470 in federal skilled worker.
Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on January 16, 2024 at 03:51:05 UTC for Federal Express Entry Draw 286. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 546, as well as those with scores of 546 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?
Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.

Applicants must pay attention to the period between draws, If the period between them is extended, the express entry allows more applicants opened their profile with higher score in Express Entry System and this can have the effect of raising the minimum or cut-off score.
