A new Federal  Express Entry Draw 164 held Sep 30,2020 and 4,200 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw

Regarding to previous draw, which held on Sep 30, 2020, the minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 471, which represents 1 points less than Express Entry Draw 164, which is one of the most significant change this year.

Draw 164 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 78,350 in federal skilled worker.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on March 2, 2020 at 12:47:08 UTC for Federal Express Entrey Draw 164. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 471, as well as those with scores of 471 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
