IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw

Regarding to previous draw, which held on Sep 02, 2020, the minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 475, which represents 1 points less than Express Entry Draw 158 in Federal Skilled Worker.

Draw 162 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 69,950 in federal skilled worker.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on August 16, 2020 at 01:22:18 UTC for Federal Express Entrey Draw 162. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 475, as well as those with scores of 475 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
