IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw

Regarding to previous draw, which held on Jul 08, 2020, the minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 476, which represents 2 points less than Express Entry Draw 155 (federal Skilled Worker).

Draw 158 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 61,600 in federal skilled worker.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on  July 27, 2020 at 01:02:47 UTC for Federal Express Entrey Draw 158. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 476, as well as those with scores of 476 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
