Latest Express Entry Year-End Report 2018 announced by CIC

The latest edition of the end-year 2018 Express Entery report was announced by Canadian government on July 2, 2019 to provide an overview for who wants to immigrate to Canada through Expresss Entry system. This report shows an increase 41% over the 2017.

Key factors in Express Entry system Invitations:

There are several important factors in Express Entry inviations, but age, level of education and IELTS language test score are determinative factors .The statisctics for the two factors in  the Express Entry Year-End Report 2018, including age and level of education in recent years are as follows:

Age:

As expected in recent years, age is one of the most important factors in admittion for applicants in Express Entry system. Across both 2017 and 2018, thos candidates who admitted by the system are between the age of 20 and 29 receive more than half invitations and the next range, which includes about 32% of the inviations, is between 30 and 34. So just these two ranges receive 84% of all invitations which shows the people are under 29 have more chance in the system.

Level of Education

In 2017, the highest numbers of candidates that had bachelor degree receive 47% of the total invitations, while in 2018, a large majority of invitations were issued to candidates that had a Master’s degree which is about 48%.

Big Margin Citizenship Admission in Express Entery System

The five most common countries of residence among invitations issued remained the same from
2017  to 2018 . In the Express Entry Year-End Report 2018 shows that the most common two countries of citizenship among invitations including India and China remaind the most common country of citizenship by a significant margin. So the candiates in India and China have mores chance to immigrate to Canada regarding the report.
