Federal Express Entry Draw 249

A new Federal  Express Entry Draw 249 held May 24,2023 and 4,800 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 488. It is 5 points more than as compared to previous all program Express Entry draw.

2023 Total ITAs issued

Draw 249 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 53,800 in federal skilled worker.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on December 26, 2022 01:12:48 UTC for Federal Express Entry Draw 249. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 478, as well as those with scores of 488 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
