IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw

Regarding to previous draw, which held on Jun 24, 2020, the minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 696, which represents 47 points lower than Express Entry Draw 153, which is the most significant change this year.

Draw 153 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 46,392 in skilled workers.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on April 23, 2020 at 10:39:30 UTC for Express Entrey Draw 153. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 696, as well as those with scores of 696 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
