A new Federal  Express Entry Draw 240 held Feb 082,2023 and 3,300 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Regarding to previous draw, which held on Jan 18, 2023, the minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 489, which represents 1 points less than Express Entry Draw 238.

2023 Total ITAs issued

Draw 240 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 15,193 in federal skilled worker.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on March 29, 2022, at 16:09:00 UTC for Federal Express Entry Draw 240. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 489, as well as those with scores of 489 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
