On November 24, 2020, Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) provides new changes to three of International Skilled Worker sub-categories including Employment Offer, Occupation In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry. Bilingualism was not considered an advantage before November 24, 2020, and applicants only scored in their first language, English or French.
Now there is a good news after SNIP announcement for applicants who want to immigrate to canada through SNIP programs. The maximum points in 5 factors of age, language, education, work experience and job offer were 100 points, and by adding a maximum of 10 points for the second language, the maximum score increased to 110.
Althought the minimum score required to be eligible to apply for International Skilled Worker programs, which was 60, has remained unchanged, people who have language skills (at any level) in both official Canadian languages (English and French) can receive 2 points to 10 extra points.
We invite all of our Saskatchewan program Clients who have already Saskatchewan profiles, and in general applicants want to immigrate to Canada who have a French language qualification in addition to English or who are able to take official French language exams, to contact us to assess their eligibility for the Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker program.
