Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 in worldwide, Canada faced with more restrictions which had a negative impact on many businesses. Canada government has tried to do the best of its ability to processmost of immigration applicantions.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has an ambitious plan to welcome new immigrants between 2020 and 2022. In the first quarter of 2020, up until April 30, 2020, Canada welcomed 74,000 new permanent residents.

So far, immigration from India could get top rank in the table, and chinese remained as second rank in 1st quarter of as over the last few years.

Iranian immigration to Canada has also jumped one rank up from tenth to ninth in the table compared between 2019 and 1st quarter of 2020 which shows that they could improve their qualification and more applicants.
