Immigration to Saskatchewan for certain occupations
Through Saskatchewan skilled worker category, applications are being accepted from skilled workers who plan to live and work in Saskatchewan. Applicants need to meet the SINP criteria based on a points system and are being selected under one of three sub-categories.
- Occupations In-Demand
- Saskatchewan Express Entry
- Employment Offer

Saskatchewan has provided a good opportunity for skilled workers in certain occupations to immigrate to Canada through this province. ITC is currently inviting skilled workers who do not have an Employment offer from a Saskatchewan employer to apply under one of the first two categories:
Before applying you need to make sure:
1- You have at least one year experience (and in most cases at least two-years) in one of the Occupations In-Demand. (you can see the list at the bottom of this page.)
Important: you must have a post-secondary education that is directly related to your occupation.
2- You have an English or French language score of at least CLB4 (for English: IELTS level 4)
3- You have completed post-secondary education of at least 1 year.
4- Have score at least 60 on the SINP point assessment grid
5- Have proof of settlement funds (i.e. $12,300 for a single applicant, $18,825 for a family of four).
Important: You need to have kept this amount for at least 3 months prior to submission of application.
To be eligible to apply under the Express Entry sub-category in addition to the above, you need to have been accepted in CIC’s Express Entry pool. In order to achieve that you basically need to meet the following criteria:
1- You must have assessed your education in Canada by one of the designated organizations. (We will do it for you if you don’t have one.)
2- You must score at least 67 on the CIC’s skilled worker assessment grid.
3- You have an English or French language score of at least CLB7 (for English: IELTS level 6)
Please check the Occupation list (Below) and make sure your education is related to your occupation. If you also meet the above criteria, please contact us immediately. Both programs accept a very limited number of applications periodically every three-four months.
In order to be successful you must have already prepared you application before the program re-opens so you will be able to submit the application before the quota is reached. The program will usually closes a few hours to a couple of days after it is opened, so time is a very important factor here.
