IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw
Regarding to previous draw, which held on May 1, 2019, the minimum score for the course is significantly increased to 470, which represents 20 points higher than Express Entry Draw 116, which is the most significant change this year.
2019 Total ITAs issued
Draw 118 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 34,600 in skilled workers and 500 in skilled trades.
Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on May 23, 2019, at 10:18:56 UTC for Express Entrey Draw 118. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 470, as well as those with scores of 470 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?
Applicants for Canadian immigration can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.

Applicants must pay attention to the period between draws, If the period between them is extended, the express entry allows more applicants opened their profile with higher score in Express Entry System and this can have the effect of raising the minimum or cut-off score.
CRS score distribution of candidates
The diagram shows CRS score distribution for draw 118, which is set up approximately 5 days before the announcement of the prior period on May 24, 2019. This distribution of the score can be changed in subsequent periods due to the expiration of the date of the presence of some applicants in the Express Entry system as well as the registration and entry of new applicants.
