A new Federal Express Entry Category-based Draw 286 held Feb 28,2024 and 2500 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw
Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 336. It is 29 points less than as compared to previous French language proficiency category-based Express Entry Draw.
2024 Total ITAs issued
Draw 287 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 19,390 in federal skilled worker.
Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on January 18, 2024 at 09:15:46 UTC for Federal Express Entry Draw 287. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 336, as well as those with scores of 336 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?
Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited
The diagram shows the minimum score of each draw invitation so far(Federal Express Entry Category-based Draw 287) this year.
Applicants must pay attention to the period between draws, If the period between them is extended, the express entry allows more applicants opened their profile with higher score in Express Entry System and this can have the effect of raising the minimum or cut-off score.
CRS score distribution of candidates
The chart below shows CRS score distribution for draw 287, which is set up two days before draw day on Feb 27, 2024. This distribution of the score can be changed in subsequent periods due to the expiration of the date of the presence of some applicants in the Federal Express Entry system as well as the registration and entry of new applicants in federal skilled worker.
