A new Federal  Express Entry Draw 170 held Dec 23,2020 and 5,000 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw

Regarding to previous draw, which held on Dec 23, 2020, the minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 468, which represents 1 points less than Express Entry Draw 169.

Draw 170 brings the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 107,350 in federal skilled worker.

Tie-breaking rule

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on June 4, 2020 at 13:39:44 UTC for Federal Express Entrey Draw 170. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 468, as well as those with scores of 478 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.

How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?

Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
