Express Entry Draw 141-142 | 3,900 invitations to Apply issued
A new Express Entry Draw 141-142 held Apr 9, 2020 and 3,900 Express Entry candidates who want to immigrate to Canada will receive invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence in two categories including Provincial nominee Program and Canadian Experience Class.

IRCC increased the CRS score compared to previous draw
Regarding to previous draw in both categories there are some changes on minimum scores as below:
Provincial nominee Program
The minimum score for the course is decreased to 698, which represents 22 points less than Express Entry Draw 139 in this class, which is the most significant change this year.
Canadian Experience Class
The minimum score for the course is smoothly decreased to 464, which represents 3 points less than Express Entry Draw 140 in this class.
2020 Total ITAs issued
Draw 141 and 142 bring the total number of ITAs issued so far of this year to 26,500 in skilled workers
Provincial nominee Program Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on December 18, 2019 at 11:29:51 UTC for Express Entrey Draw 141. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 698, as well as those with scores of 698 who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
Canadian Experience Class Tie-breaking rule
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) applied the tie-break on January 4, 2020 at 12:16:45 UTC UTC for Express Entrey Draw 142. This means that all candidates with a CRS score above 464, as well as those with scores of 464who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
How to increase your score in Express Entry pool?
Candidates who want to immigrate to Canada can increase their current scores in pool by Study in Canada, Job offer and Canadian Experience Work or by receiving nomination from one of the Provincial Nomination Program.
CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited
The diagram shows the minimum score of each draw invitation so far(Express Entry Draw 127) this year.
Applicants must pay attention to the period between draws, If the period between them is extended, the express entry allows more applicants opened their profile with higher score in Express Entry System and this can have the effect of raising the minimum or cut-off score.
CRS score distribution of candidates
The diagram shows CRS score distribution for draw 141 and 142, which is set up approximately 4 days before the announcement of the prior period on Apr 9, 2020. This distribution of the score can be changed in subsequent periods due to the expiration of the date of the presence of some applicants in the Express Entry system as well as the registration and entry of new applicants.
