Existing Work Permit Sub-Category
- Have an offer of permanent, full-time employment in Saskatchewan either in an occupation in the NOC level A, B or 0 occupation, or in a designated trade in Saskatchewan.
- Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter;
- Have worked for more than six months, for the employer offering the job, under a valid work permit.
Health Profession Sub-Category
- Have at least six months work experience for an approved Saskatchewan employer, under a Work Permit as a Physician, Nurse or other Health Professional.
- Have an offer of permanent employment issued by a Saskatchewan Regional Health Authority, the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, other health employer, or for a job in an occupation regulated by Saskatchewan Health.
Hospitality Sector Project Sub-Category
- Have at least six months work experience for an approved Saskatchewan employer, under a Work Permit as Food/Beverage Serve, Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper, or Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff.
- Have an offer of permanent employment from an approved employer in Saskatchewan in one of the above categories.
- Have minimum education of grade 12 high school or equivalent.
- Have am inimum of Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB 4) or higher English Language ability across all 4 categories (listening, speaking, reading and writing.)
Long Haul Truck Driver Project Sub-Category
- Be working on a temporary work permit for an approved Saskatchewan trucking firm for a minimum of six months.
- Have a current Saskatchewan Class 1A driver’s license.
- Have an offer of full-time, permanent employment from your employer, which must be an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan.
- Have am inimum of Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB 4) or higher English Language ability across all 4 categories (listening, speaking, reading and writing.)
Student Sub-Category – Post-Graduation Work Permit Stream
- Have graduated with a certificate, diploma or degree of at least one academic year (eight months) from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in Canada.
- Have at least six months work experience in Saskatchewan if the applicant is graduated from an institution in Saskatchewan, or at least 12 months work experience in Saskatchewan if the institution is outside Saskatchewan.
- Have a post-graduation work permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
- Have a current, permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer. The job offer does not have to relate to your studies
- If the job offer falls into a NOC C or D, have a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 4 or higher English Language ability across all 4 categories (listening, speaking, reading and writing.)
Student Sub-Category – Master’s and PhD Graduate Stream
- Have completed all degree requirements for an existing Master’s and/or PhD program that required at least one academic year of full-time study from the University of Saskatchewan or the University of Regina.
- Intention to live in Saskatchewan and being able to demonstrate the ability to settle and work in Saskatchewan with at least one of the following:
- Have at least six months of employment history in the field of training in Saskatchewan;
- Are currently employed in the field of training or have received a job offer in the field of training in Saskatchewan for a term longer than six months;
- Have enough money to sustain for a short time without work ($10,000 for the applicant and $2,000 for each accompanying family members.
- If the applicant does not have an offer of employment or if your job offer falls into a NOC C or D, he/she must have a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB 4) or higher English Language ability across all 4 categories (listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
